AATCC/ASTM Test Method TS-008, Appearance After Repeated Home Laundering

Scope: Evaluate colorfastness properties of fabric, garments, or other textile products after repeated home laundering.

• Sample is paired with a multi-fiber stripe
• Then placed in an AATCC approved washer with ballast for one washing and drying cycle according to the care label
• The multi-fiber stripe is removed after one laundering
• The sample is then laundered and dried 2 more times
• Color change of the sample and staining of the multi-fiber stripe is evaluated
