AATCC/ASTM Test Method TS-007, Procedure for Colorfastness to Home Laundering

Scope: Evaluate colorfastness properties of fabric, garments, or other textile products after repeated home laundering.

• Sample is paired with a multi-fiber strip
• Then placed in an AATCC approved washer with ballast for one washing and drying cycle
• The multi-fiber strip is removed after one laundering
• The sample is then laundered and dried 2 more times
• Color change of the sample and staining of the multi-fiber strip is evaluated
