AATCC Test Method 130, Soil Release: Oily Stain Release Method

Scope: To measure the ability of fabrics to release oily stains during home laundering.

• Corn oil is exposed to fabric and then laundered
• Stains other than corn oil may be used at customer's request
• Sample are then compared to photographic standards and rated
• No pre-treater or additional stain remover used during testing
